The preliminary list of standard equipment for the new Bavaria 38cruiser complies with the one of the Bararia 37cruiser - additionally, the following improvements are now included in the standard equipment when compared to the Bavaria 37cruiser:

• Drawer underneath the bed in the forward cabin
• Larger locker and more space in the foreship
• 2 larger port lights and 2 regular port lights in the salon
• 3 deck hatches in the salon that can be opened
• All in all 7 windows and hatches in the salon that can be opened
• 2 deck ventilators in the salon
• Chart table in a new design
• Galley with integrated microwave oven
• Larger head
• Double locker in the aft cabin
• Aft cabin with deck hatch, cockpit window and deck window to improve ventilation (3 windows/hatches to open)
• Mainsheet-system mit mainsheet winches
• 6 winches on deck as standard
• 2-wing doors a the companionway
• Larger cockpit, cockpit benches are 2,50m long
• Larger cockpit locker lid for better storage in the spacious cockpit locker
