The preliminary list of standard equipment for the new Bavaria 38cruiser complies with the one of the Bararia 37cruiser - additionally, the following improvements are now included in the standard equipment when compared to the Bavaria 37cruiser:

- Larger locker and more space in the foreship
- 2 larger port lights and 2 regular port lights in the salon
- 3 deck hatches in the salon that can be opened
- All in all 7 windows and hatches in the salon that can be opened

- Double locker in the aft cabin
