HULL
GRP hull, all handlaminated. Longitudinal stringers and transverse
floor members as appropriate. All structural bulkheads are teak
faced marine plywood securely bonded to the hull. Iron ballast
keel of 5,5 tons, is fitted internally and encapsulated with GRP.
Draft 1,85 m. Engine bed of GRP with steel insert.
DECK AND SUPERSTRUCTURE
The deck and superstructure are of 100 % hand laminated GRP
construction. Teak deck. Handrail is made of teak with stainless
steel stanchions. Windows are of toughened safetyglass suspended
in alloy frames. Boarding gates aft and starboard. Four
heavy duty chocks and four cleats. Stainless steel stemhead fitting.
Rubbing strake of teak. Anchor box forward.
ENGINE
The engine is a fresh water cooled Yanmar 4LH-HTE diesel engine
developing 140 hp at 3300 rpm. KM5A gear box provides
2.6:1 reduction. Acid-proof propeller shaft, bronze propeller 23" ×
17" LH. Cathodic protection is fitted on all underwater fittings. 950
ltr of diesel fuel is carried in two steel tanks, one each side of the
engine room. The tanks are filled from sidedeck fillers and
equipped with a separate handpump for taking out the dirt. Space
reserved for generator installation. Cruising range approx. 950
nautical miles.
PLUMBING
All through hull fittings below waterline with bronze seacocks.
Fresh water: 620 ltr. Stainless steel freshwater tank is fitted under
the main saloon sole. The tank is fitted with necessary venting.
Pressurised water system. Tubing in PVC and rubber. Stainless
steel double sink in galley, washbasins and handshowers in toilets.
Both toilet compartments are supplied with marine pump type
heads. Holding tank appr. 150 l (40 gal. UK) with pumpout fitting
on deck is fitted for the fwd head. Automatic electric bilge pump
and manual bilgepump.
STEERING
Dual steering stations, one in wheelhouse and one on aft deck.
Turnover rate of the inner wheel adjustable, normally 3–6 turns
from lock to lock. Rudder of GRP, rudder stock of acid-proof steel,
emergency steering by way of a tiller connected directly to the
rudder stock.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Ship's service is by way of a 12 V D.C. system employing 3 heavy
duty lead acid batteries, two of 220 Ah for service and one of 180
Ah for start. A master switch for start and service battery. The
charging system employs a 12 V/80 A alternator and a relay for
parallel connection during engine-running. Circuit breakers. Lighting
throughout the yacht as needed. Running lights to international
standards.
SPARS AND RIGGING
Silver anodised aluminium alloy spars with internal halyards and
elliptical formed spreaders. The spars are sound-proof. Main mast
boom equipped with Rodkick boomvang. Main and mizzen masts
stepped on deck. Main mast is fitted with anchor, masthead and
flood lights. Mizzen mast is fitted with flood lights and flag staff.

INTERIOR
All interior joinery is of satin varnished teak or teak faced marine
plywood, except the surfaces of the galley and toilet compartments.
Upholstery and curtains throughout are available in a variety
of standard combinations. The floorboards are of teak faced
plywood with wood striping and varnished finish. Wall-to-wall
carpeting in pilothouse. Toilets and shower room floors are of
mosaic tiles.
FORECABIN
Two berths. Shelves and reading lights above the berths and
storage space underneath. Aluminium alloy framed hatch to provide
light and ventilation. Wardrobe with hanging pole and
shelves. 12 V outlet.
FORWARD TOILET
The forward head is located by the fwd cabin and contains a marine
pump type head, pressurised water, basin, handshower and
shower curtain. Inside the door on the ceiling, there is a curtain
rail of aluminium. Ceiling light. Storage behind and underneath of
basin. Finished in light laminate. One Dorade vent.
AFT TOILET
In spacious aft head, pressurised water and basin. The toilet is
supplied with marine pump type head, septic tank and a pumpout
fitting on deck. Ceiling light. Mirror, handshower and opening port
and curtain. Inside the door on the ceiling there is a curtain rail of
aluminium.
SALOON / GALLEY
Dinette for up to eight persons, the table can be lowered to form a
generous double berth. On port side a barlocker with a bottle rack,
mirror in the rear and the barlocker doors have tin coating (crossshaped).
Space for radio and TV. Bookshelf. Storage beneath the
settee. On starboard side a long settee with a shelf above and
lockers. Pentry/galley, forward of dinette, is fitted with stainless
steel double sink, two burner gas stove with oven (gimballed).
Burners and oven have flame guards. Gas installation: one-piece
copper pipe, flexible tubes at bottle, shutoff valves at stove. 100 l
top loading 12 V compressor driven refrigerator. Plenty of working
space of Durant surface, several drawers, shelves and lockers.
Cutting board. Drawers for silverware. Trash pail. One Dorade
vent and one aluminium framed hatch to provide light and ventilation
to this area.
