History

• 1976 - Oy Botnia Marin Ab founded.
• 1977 - Production started. Main product was the H-boat (sailing boat), which participated in all northern Europe boat fairs in its first year.
• 1977 - Botnia 23 production started. Production continued up to 1991 by which time 650 boats had been built.
• 1981 - Production of NF sailing boats started and continued up to 1987.
• 1984 - TARGA 25 production rights bought from Targa Yachts. Comprehensive product development started.
• 1989 - TARGA 29 and its two and four feet longer versions.
• 1992 - TARGA 27

• 1997 - Sunwind Yachts 4000 m2 in Nykarleby boatyard bought.
